Information On The Cartoon Character Plankton From The SpongeBob Squarepants Series

Plankton is one of the animated characters in the cartoon series, SpongeBob SquarePants; he is the owner of the Chum Bucket restaurant competing for customers with Krabs’ rival business. The full name of this queer character is Shedon J. Plankton but it is only disclosed in the episode, Plankton’s Army. He is married to a computer, but not even his wife, Karen, knows his full name. When she finds out she laughs at Plankton, but without being mean. All throughout the series Plankton will try to get his hands on Mr. Krabs’ secret recipe.

Sheldon Plankton plays the smallest of the heroes in SpongeBob SquarePants, he is so tiny that he can fit into SpongeBob’s hand. He is a zooplankter with one eye in the center of his head that is easily recognized by his very deep voice. There is one funny episode, Enemy-in-Law, when Plankton nearly becomes Mr. Krabs’ stepfather in a very funny context that viewers definitely like. In the movie version of the animation, Plankton finally succeeds in stealing the Krusty Krabs’ secret recipe and he is the happiest zooplankter in the world. Unfortunately, SpongeBob ruins his dream of world domination.

There is a lot of contradiction between Plankton’s humble tiny appearance and his aspirations and goals. This small, jelly, green bean-shaped creature with long antennas is 1% good and 99% evil. The flaws of his nature keep him away from getting hands on the Krabby Patty formula, because he makes stupid mistakes out of impatience and too much haste. Sneaky and jealous, Plankton ignores the fact that he and Mr. Krabs used to be friends, with Krabs as his only protector against those who bullied him. His anger is often targeting SpongeBob whom he thinks to be too silly and babyish, and who on top of everything has the privilege of knowing the ingredients of the Krabby Patty recipe.

We could say that there is no antagonist or villain in the SpongeBob SquarePants series other than Plankton ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.spongetoysbob.com/). He makes all sorts of major schemes to achieve his goals and most of the time gets involved with characters that are a lot stronger than him; a very large ego surely hides in that tiny body of his. From a certain point of view, Plankton ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.spongetoysbob.com/spongebob/category/spongebob-reviews/spongbob-puzzles/) wins viewers over by his miserable failures at getting something that seems so important for him. No matter the way one feels towards this character it is obvious that he gives a grain of salt to the cartoon.

Spongebob Squarepants Will Melt Your Childs Mind

It’s been a long time since we first met Spongebob Squarepants in 1999, though there doesn’t seem to be much talk about the awful things he continues to do to our poor little childrens’ minds on a daily basis.

Where are the throngs of protesters chanting catchy slogans? Where is the Senatorial debate? Where are the fanatical masses (that have never seen the show before) when we are in our hour of most dire need?

Spongebob is a sea sponge that lives in a pineapple at the bottom of the ocean in a town called “Bikini Bottom”.

It is easy to point out many different things that are wrong with this one sentence that really should cause you to think about what Spongebob is teaching children!

- Spongebob looks like a yellow kitchen sponge and not a sea sponge at all, though both his parents do look much more like sea sponges

- He lives in a pineapple that never biodegrades

- The towns’ name is a sexual innuendo

- Bikini Bottom is also a reference to Bikini Atoll, an area devastated by the USA in the 1940s and 50s by nuclear weapons testing

With that one simple sentence about the show we have already come across some major issues, and yet nobody says a word and we continue to allow our children to watch. With every episode of the show you watch, you will find more and more things that will damage your childrens’ developing minds.

The characters routinely use fire underwater, such as campfires.

The characters go to the “Goo Lagoon” beach to swim and sunbathe… underwater. One surfer fish named “Scooter” DIED at Goo Lagoon because he was buried in sand up to his neck and nobody dug him out before high tide came in and drowned him! (Spongebob Season 2: Episode Name: Bubble Buddy)

Scooter does return in later episodes, alive.

The various fish-based characters drive boats as cars and ride bicycles with multiple rotating paddles as wheels.

One of Spongebobs’ neighbors is ‘Squidward Tentacles’… the octopus… though he has 6 tentacles instead of the correct number of either 8 for an octopus or 10 for a squid. Squidward also plays the clarinet… underwater.

“Mr. Krabs” is a crab that owns the “Krusty Krab” restaurant, and he has a daughter named “Pearl”… who is a Sperm Whale.

Across the street from the Krusty Krab is the “Chum Bucket” restaurant owned by “Sheldon J. Plankton” whom everyone refers to as just “Plankton”. Plankton is in fact not “planktonic” (drifting in sea waters), but is “benthic” (living on the ocean floor), and is married to…. a computer named “Karen”, whom in the Spongebob movie states that she never agreed to marry Plankton.

And now we find that he has gone from just your TV to invade our real world.

I live with my wife and our two children in a suburb of St. Paul MN, and we sometimes go to Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. On several occasions we have taken our children to what was once “Camp Snoopy” but is now “Nickelodeon Universe” where you will find many references to Spongebob throughout the park. On occasion they even have a person dressed as Spongebob walking around greeting children, and they can also have their photo taken with him.

What more proof do we need that Spongebob is a conspiracy to brainwash our children and make them think that all the anomalies I pointed out above are to be considered “normal” or “acceptable”?

Do we really only care about being spoon fed mindless entertainment each day from the moment we wake? We are being trained that we don’t have to think for ourselves or wonder about what might really be the important goings-on in the world; and instead we should just sit back, watch “American Idol” and consume, obey and reproduce.

I took a quick break from my Sony digital camera repair ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.darntoothysam.com/categories/Sony-Digital-Camera-Parts-and-Repair-Service/) work and just finished watching my Spongebob Season 3 box set, and will purchase season 4, 5, 6 etc. shortly… for research purposes only I assure you. I will report back with my findings after watching them all… a few times… with my children of course because they love Spongebob and we watch it all the time. Now I need to get back to some Canon digital camera repair ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.darntoothysam.com/categories/Canon-Digital-Camera-Parts-and-Repair-Service/) work or I won’t be able to buy that new Spongebob box set!

I wonder when the new Spongebob movie is coming out? I can’t wait to see it!
