Lost: The Complete Series ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hxogxzUDSc)

Lost: The Complete Series on DVD ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.musicbyday.com/lost-order-the-complete-series-dvd-blu-ray/823/) has to be the box set I’m most excited about since the release of the Beatles Stereo CD Box Set ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.musicbyday.com/the-beatles-remastered-stereo-cd-box-set/492/) and the Beatles Mono CD Box Set ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.musicbyday.com/the-beatles-mono-box-set/490/) last summer. Yes, I have already seen every episode of the show but there are some cool extras in the complete series box set. Plus, I am planning on watching the entire series over again, that’s how good it is.

The DVD version of the complete collection (it’s also available as Blu-Ray discs) contains a full disc of previously unseen content. Just that probably makes it worth the purchase price for me. Having already seen all of the episodes, I’m still hungry for more!

In all there are about 30 hours of bonus features included in the box set along with every single one of the 121 regular episodes. This means there’s a lot to discover in this set even for a Lost fanatic like me!

There are also some neat special features such as an exclusive episode guide, a Lost island replica, and a Senet game as seen in season 6 (don’t worry if you haven’t seen season 6 yet, that’s not really a spoiler.) It even comes with a black light!

And if you are fortunate enough to have not yet seen the series then I must tell you to not waste another minute in ordering the complete collection of Lost. You are in for a true treat. Lost is among the greatest TV series ever. It takes you on a real trip that is chock full of unpredictable twists and turns. I cannot possibly recommend it anymore highly. I am actually jealous of those who haven’t taken this ride yet! Sadly for me, I can never see it for the first time again.

But whether you have never seen Jack, Locke, Hurley, Sawyer, “Freckles”, and, Charlie, and the rest of the gang before or not buying this complete collection boxset is a no brainer.

Lost Box Set: All 6 Seasons On DVD Or Blu-Ray

Lost: The Complete Collection on DVD ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hxogxzUDSc)

Lost ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://ezinearticles.com/?Why-Desmond-Hume-is-My-Favorite-Lost-Character&id=4413921) is right up there with Battlestar Galactica, Six Feet Under, and Arrested Development as one of the best shows of the 2010s! As a guy who has already seen every single episode of all 6 seasons of Lost, I am still probably going to buying the complete Lost collection on Blu-Ray ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.weirdbiz.com/lost-the-complete-dvd-or-blu-ray-series/1010/) because this is the kind of show that will be very fun to view a second time (plus there’s a lot of awesome extra features included with the complete series box set.)

If you’re new to Lost then I’m actually jealous of you to be able to experience it for the very first time. It’s really that good of a show. it is the type of show that you are probably going to fondly remember for the rest of your days.

To get the most out of the experience you really want to buy the complete Lost DVD box set ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.loveyoudeer.com/lost.html) and then avoid all spoilers as much as you can. A great part of the show is having the “mysteries of the island” slowly unraveled in amazingly unexpected ways. Don’t ruin that for yourself by looking up things about the show!

Also it’s important to view it from beginning to end in order. This is a real “serial” where every single episode leads to the next. It is all “one story” rather than a show where each episode (or even season) has it’s own internal logic.

I really must warn anyone reading this that Lost is very addictive and that if you like it anywhere near as much as I do that you may find yourself watching as many as seven episodes in just one sitting (yes I actually did this once!) It is one of those shows where every episode ends on an unbearable cliffhanger that really has you wanting to know what happens next.

I should also really say that this is a people who like to think about things. What’s going on will not always be obvious. If you are looking fors predictable mindless entertainment, you should look somewhere else. You will have to make use of your brain when you watch this mystery unfold.

The Wire, Dexter, And Lost: Must See TV

The Complete Series of Lost ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hxogxzUDSc)

There aren’t many good TV shows these days but the three TV programs I’m going to highlight here stand above other TV shows as 3 of the best series of the century to this point.

The first show I want to recommend is The Wire ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.smartreviews.info/the-wire-the-complete-series/138/) which was an excellent HBO series which lasted for five seasons from 2002 through 2008. Each season takes a look at the city of Baltimore, Maryland from a different perspective. It is a brilliant show not only as a show that really pulls viewers in (like the other two series in this article I recall watching 4 or 5 episodes in in just one day) but also as a series that makes great points about what’s going wrong in modern cities.

I don’t want to get into the specifics of those points are, since I think the show itself makes them far better than I could in an article like this one. But I will say that one of the things I really enjoy about this outstanding program is how it blurs the line between the “bad guys” and the “good guys.” There are good and bad things about just about everyone.

The second show I want to recommend is actually the only one of the these three that is still running and that’s Dexter which is on Showtime. ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.thenextnew.com/dexter-season-3-on-dvd-blu-ray/154/) This is a series that I did not think I would really like when I first heard about it so it took awhile before I finally checked it out. I’m very glad that I did. It’s ended up among my favorite shows of all time. Yes, it’s definitely twisted (the main character is a serial killer after all) but it is twisted in a quite cool way.

The final show I recommend as a great TV series of the century is the one I have been most obsessed with recently and that’s probably because it has only recently ended. You can now order the complete collection of Lost ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.musicbyday.com/lost-order-the-complete-series-dvd-blu-ray/823) and that is definitely the way to go since this is a show that should be watched from beginning to end without any skipping around.

What I really love about this mysterious show is that it’s “one big story” where each show is an important part of the whole that leads into the next episode. Watch it from the beginning and don’t read any spoilers.

Law And Order Given Order To Shut Down

The original Law and Order has been canceled. The show has been filming and taking place in New York City for two decades. It was confirmed by producer Dick Wolf that the show will not continue after this season wraps. The spin off shows will continue, however, along with a new one for the fall. So despite the original show ending, syndication and a brand new spin-off mean the makers of the show won’t hurt for payday cash ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://personalmoneystore.com/payday-loans/online-payday-loans/payday-cash/).

Dodgers inspire Law and Order

It was announced that though Law and Order the original is facing the firing squad, hope springs eternal. A new spin-off will debut this spring, Law and Order: Los Angeles, according to the New York Times. The New York offices are closing shop, and the series is heading to LA, just like the Dodgers. The longest running TV drama on primetime is still Gunsmoke, and producer Dick Wolf was known to have wanted to put it out of first place.

Spin offs abound

No other show has produced more spin-off shows than Law and Order. Currently, there are Law and Order Special Victims Unit, Law and Order Criminal Intent, and Law and Order UK, with Law and Order Los Angeles to debut soon. There were several other spin off series, but none fared too well. There are rumors that a movie may be in the works and that the show is being sued by Chuck Norris, as Law and Order are the trademarked names of his left and right boots.

Other shows that got the axe

Spring brings April Showers, May Flowers, and canceled TV Shows. Both smash success shows Lost ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://personalmoneystore.com/moneyblog/2010/02/01/235-10-pieces-lost-trivia/) and 24 were cut. The Ghost Whisperer will soon need John Edwards to communicate with it, Numb3rs has dwindled to zero, and The New Adventures of Old Christine will not have any new episodes.
