The cast list for DWTS was already announced by American Broadcasting Company. It is going to start its 11 season on September 20 for viewers who care. The show is going to star Bristol Palin, “The Situation,” David Hasslhoff, Audrina Patridge and Brandy, as it was announced by media leaks a week ago. NJ.com reports the rest of the star-studded cast will consist of: standup comic and potential Bristol Palin-The Situation love triangle raider Margaret Cho; previous “Brady Bunch” mom Florence Henderson; Vanessa Williams’ spouse Rick Fox; semi-balding on-again, off-again Nicollette Sheridan man toy Michael Bolton; and “Baby” from “Dirty Dancing,” Jennifer Grey. Jennifer Grey will probably be the center-stage story of DWTS this year. She may have had her life saved by Dancing With the Stars.
Jennifer Grey ended up in a vehicle incident
Years ago, Jennifer Grey was in a car accident. She thought there was no way she could dance again. Zap2It reports that Grey said she was feeling bad neck pain before talking to a neurological spine surgeon. She had wanted to be on DWTS for years and had heard the surgeon had worked on dancer Karina Smirnoff, so Grey scheduled an appointment. Grey had some torn ligaments in her neck because of the incident. Apparently nobody had treated her correctly. Grey was told by the surgeon that her spinal cord was compressed because of the degenerated condition. Any blow might cause a minor shift. This shift would then lead to her being permanently paralyzed. Grey got her neck fused. The doctor talked to her during this. He said she should have a benign nodule removed.

Now she can be able to do well on “Dancing with the Stars.” Considering the program inspired her to take action and receive treatment for her ailments, Jennifer Grey may really well have saved her life via the magic of the dance. “I was so frightened of the surgery, I didn’t want to even consider that it would be successful. And it was so successful, I proceeded to do everything else on my ‘to-do’ list that I was afraid of, including doing this show,” Zap2It heard from Grey. “I figure that if I don’t do it now, I’ll be too old for it. My body is clearly giving out.”
