Tom Cruise Leads The Series 15 Top Gear Lap Time

In the recent top gear episode of series 15 featured Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. Like all the previous celebrities featured in Top Gear they had to do a lap too. It has now become more of a tradition since it started. It actually has started to get very competitive. This car reviews ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.carpress.co.uk/car-reviews/) program is now one of the most watched TV programs in the UK. This is one show where celebrity can drive without fear and have a fantastic time with the hosts.

Both Tom and Cameron tried to beat the fastest time and also seemed like they had a great time. Before Tom and Cameron got in the car the leader board had Rupert Grint at the top. Cameron Diaz was the first to go and did a fantastic lap including an awesome turn in the most difficult turn of the lap where you have to stay inside the lines. Though I have to tell you she did swear a lot and probably didn’t realise it was getting broad casted on BBC. after the lap she became the fastest on the leader board after a lap time of 1 minute 45 seconds and 2 milliseconds. Cameron as usual looked stunning even when she was wearing a helmet as Jeremy Clarkson mentioned on the show.

Then it was the top gun start Cruise, who started well. He had a gear problem or two but happens when you don’t drive manual cars in US. At the end of the lap he even drove the car in two wheels as the left hand side of the car in the air. Jokingly Jeremy mentioned I am glad you are alive after that trick. It was good to see a reasonable car driven like a star. Then came the moment to find out how he did, his lap time was 1 min 44 secs and 2 milliseconds, a second faster than Cameron who is now in second position.

It’s good to see people who normally drive stunning cars drive family cars like Alfa Romeo cars ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.carpress.co.uk/alfa-romeo) or Volkswagen cars ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.carpress.co.uk/volkswagen) or ford cars.

What Are The Real Transformers?

With the recent films revitalising the series I thought it would be quite a cool idea to list some of the well known characters from the series and actually put down what vehicle they are in the real world.

Optimus Prime

Optimus prime is one if not the most famous transformer of all time simply because he is in charge of the famous Autobots. Since the beginning of the series he has been able to transform into many different vehicles but the most famous (helped partly by the films) is the semi truck. However he has also been seen as a fire engine and various aircraft.

Megatron

It wouldn’t be an article about transformers without the boss of the Decepticons and the only real challenge Megatron has is when he runs into Prime. These are the two that always end up having the final battle and you have seen that in the films also. Along with prime he seems to of had a lot of changes over the years taking the form of a tank, Jet and even a T-REX.

Hot Shot

Hot Shot is the leader of the famous spy changers and he has worked alongside Prime for a long time. The spy changers are quite unique as they are able to actually walk across any surface that they want and disguise themself from anyone and anything. Hot Shots form in our world would be the rather old Porsche 959.

Ironhide

Ironhide is one of the oldest bots out there and he again was part of the spy changers that helped out the Autobots against the Decepitcons. One thing does further suggest that he is a bit on the old side is his real life form, a very old Nissan one box cherry vanette.

With this in mind I am almost certain that you would need some Gap insurance ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.nationwidevehiclecontracts.co.uk/gap_insurance.htm) with the amount of money you would be paying off for one of these robots. The insurance costs would be huge! You would certainly need bad credit car loans ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.nationwidevehiclecontracts.co.uk/refused_credit.htm) if you owned one of these robots and a new car lease ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.nationwidevehiclecontracts.co.uk/) would be necessary.

Some Of The Coolest Bond Chases

Fifth Gear Top 5 ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjXhSbPUHnc&feature=rec-LGOUT-real_rev-rn-1r-1-HM)

There have been some really good Bond chases across the franchise history from car to boat and foot to plane but here are the best of the best.

Goldeneye- Tank

How about starting with the one that I love the most, the huge tank scene from Goldeneye. Bond was behind the wheel of a Russian tank in this one. This was actually the first time that something like this had happened and Bond had gotten behind the wheel of a real war machine. One of the main reasons that this is one of my favourites is simply because it was the one that I had grown up watching and although I have to say I prefer Connery as Bond It is hard not to say this was a brilliant chase scene.

Casino Royale- Madacascar

This was done to get the watchers attention, and it did just this proving to be the start of a very good filmq. This is one of the best Bodn scenes simply because it is actually a bit realistic although that crane jump was pretty far fetched. Just after Bond gets his 00 status he makes a bit of a mess by blowing up an embassy, M then regrets giving him the license.

Goldfinger

This was the classic Bond chase and although not the first it was awesome. This one is great as it features a machine gunner franny, a metal hat throwing guy, smokescreens and of course the ejecter seat! These few things by themselves have to make it a great chase scene! There were a fair number of deaths in this one and Bond almost gets killed several times in this chase sceneq.

The World Is Not Enough- Thames

Many people think that this is the only really good scene in the movie and felt that the writers had started to lose it a bit when it came to this film. I have to say the only film I didnt really like was Die Another Day, that was just stupid and was very badly written. On the other hand the River Thames Boat scene was brilliant and featured machine guns, a very high tech boat that could dive underwater for a few seconds and one of the first occasions we see Bond getting injured and not getting up after five minutes.

It has to be said that the next Bond scene will be one to watch as they now have the really big budget on them thanks the the franchise being put back on track after the poor Die Another Day.

So although it isn’t likely that we are going to see bond go out and get large van lease ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.nationwidevehiclecontracts.co.uk/Large-Van-contract-hire.htm) the next Bond chase could be a cracker. Surely he must have bad credit car leasing ^(http://www.indiefilmhouse.com/goto/http://www.nationwidevehiclecontracts.co.uk/refused_credit.htm).
